 Plumber Earns Kudos

I've owned a home in Sun City West for many years, and I've heard a number of scare stories about huge plumbing bills in the Sun City area.

My worst fears came true when I received my monthly water bill. For years I have averaged 6-7,000 gallons monthly, but this monthly bill hits me with a 14,000 gallon usage.

I have a major water leak. After thoroughly going through the house and not locating any type of leak, that meant it was somewhere between the meter by the street and the house.

I could just picture having to dig up the front yard, the driveway and whatever else had to be very expensively done to find the leak.

My guardian angel handyman, strongly recommended Tom's Plumbing in Youngtown. I called and their serviceman Rick, arrived the next morning.

He Located the break in a pipe connection 3 feet underground in the front yard, replaced the broken connection and had returned my front yard to it's original condition within 90 minutes of the time he arrived. My Total cost was under $150.00

Thanks very much for your visit. 
You've saved us a lot of money. 
To begin with, you found the leak in our soft-water system, one that gives NO indication except for an apparently very faint noise or vibration that neither my wife nor I ever heard or were aware of. That saved us the $125 we would have had to spend on the guy with the leak "locator." 
 
Then, a much bigger savings, looking at the fact that we were wasting, by my calculation, 1 gallon every 2-1/3 minutes or 25 gallons an hour or 600 gallons a day or 18,000 gallons a month, right down a quiet drain.  At the sky-rocketing rates, that is a huge savings for us, probably $60 to $70 per month.  We are very grateful. 
 
Then, instead of dashing out the door, you kindly spent the rest of your "hour" giving us some very useful insights into how to look for and find the right combination for replacement of our kitchen sink and faucet - information we really needed.  Clearly, you are now, whether you like it or not, "our plumber."  And we tend to be a bit noisy about things like that, so you may get some calls from others who find they need some work done.
